The Power Of Body Language
Develop your skills to get a boyfriend by learning more about your body language. Body language is a very powerful way to attract a boyfriend and him know that you like him.
According to Carol Allen, relationship coach, “most males of any species only approach a female when she sends SIGNALS that she is ready to be approached.
We humans like to think that we've grown past our animal natures and that we're much more evolved than our furry, feathered friends. But, studies show that a whopping eighty percent of human relationships are started by the woman SENDING SIGNALS TO THE MAN that it is okay to approach.
Send signals to him
Signals like smiling at him, turning your body toward him, tossing your hair, making eye contact, waving a big flag over your head that says, "PICK ME!”
Do you try those things or are you still counting on your prince to ride up on a white horse to your door, ring the doorbell, and carry you away up to his castle? Are you in a "Sleeping Beauty Coma," waiting for someone to come and find you in your glass casket to wake you from your slumber and handle all your love problems for you?”
Waiting for some guy to come along and just magically become your boyfriend is not going to work.
The important skills to get a boyfriend are to send those signals. Maybe you have been shy? Maybe you have been waiting around hoping for someone to find you? This will not work.
If you find a man that you like, start sending the signals that will get his attention.
The skills to get a boyfriend are simple and easy. Using body language will give a man the green light so that he knows that it is ok to approach you and that you are interested in him.
Smile at him
The most powerful tool you have is your smile. A bright smile that shows your teeth and reaches your eyes will convey that you are interested, and that you like him.
There are so many ways to smile, but men can read each one with amazing accuracy. Does she like me? Is she just being nice? Is she just being polite? These are all answered with a smile.
Turn your body towards him
In body language basics, turning toward someone communicates approval.
Turn your torso toward him while you are standing or sitting. Leaning toward him also tells him you are interested. He will notice you being inviting and welcoming. If he is interested in you he will observe how you move and follow your lead.
Make eye contact
Eye contact is a good thing. It lets him know that you notice him. It is a powerful nonverbal statement announcing that you are interested.
Toss your hair
Flinging your hair over your shoulder is considered very suggestive. This move is often viewed as flirting. This also exposes the neck, another big sign that says you are interested.
Touch him
Touch is powerful, and is a very strong body language cue for both sexes.
It’s very simple. If you like him, touch him. A light touch on the arm or shoulder is a huge sign that you want to get to know him better.
Sending these body language signals to a man will let him know you are interested. But make sure that you are being natural. If you concentrate too hard on your body language you may come across as stiff and uncomfortable.
Don’t try too hard, and don’t depend entirely on your body language to convey interest. Some men are shy, and you may just have to walk over and introduce yourself.
Remember that body language is never about just one signal; it’s always a combination of many signs we read instantly and without thought.
